The scales on his back are especially nice and highly realistic.

They are speckled with bits of white with a few spots of red in some areas. There is distinct shading between a light and dark yellow with lots of grooves in the sculpt to give them a genuine bone-like look. The level of detail in his mohawk-like head spike and horns are lovely.

I was a mouthy child that never had any problem giving my opinion whether it was wanted or not. I always identified with Spyro's cocky attitude. It is a spot on replication of his face on the PS1 game cover. I like the cocky expression on Spyro's face. The color scheme between the purple of Spyro's body, his yellow horns, the green grass and the orange + red of the fire makes this a very vibrant display piece. This is a recreation of the image on the cover the PS1 game case. This statue features the classic PS1 version of Spyro standing top a grassy base engulfed in flames. This is easily the most extravagant figure box I've ever seen. This box features loads of graphics featuring flames, golden castle bricks, smoke filled mountains, and all the contents of the product. Let's check out this lovely statue of everyone's favorite purple boi, Spyro the Dragon. Today we are taking a look at one of my favorite pieces in my video game display. Howdy doo, everyone! Time for another review! This one has been backlogged for a while due to trips and my recent kidney stone surgery, but better late than never.
